Golf at Worcester Country Club

Worcester Country Club has a long and storied past of hosting major championships and is one of only eight golf clubs to have hosted the men’s national championship (the 1925 U.S. Open) and the women’s national championship (the 1960 U.S. Open). As the site of the inaugural Ryder Cup, in 1927, Worcester Country Club is one of three golf clubs in the country to host the premier men’s, the premier women’s and the premier international golf tournaments.

Worcester Country Club’s significant contribution to the history of national and global golf also embraces our local history here in Massachusetts and the New England. WCC is home to 7 Mass Open Championships, 7 Men’s Mass. Amateur Championships, Women’s Mass. Amateur Championship, 2 New England Amateur Championships, and 2 New England PGA Championships.
